• Notes: SkySongs Seattle: A MusiCares Benefit An intimate evening in Seattle’s stratosphere overlooking the Puget Sound, Space Needle, and Lake Union (and of course, the best view of MOPOP/EMP in all of Seattle). In the Sky Retreat on the 41st floor of the Insignia building, experience a unique semi-unplugged show featuring some amazing and internationally renowned Seattle artists including Ken Stringfellow (Posies, Big Star, REM, FM Collective) with Mike Lucero (FM Collective), Dane Vance Creek (Rain Light Fade, Run For It Marty), Ira Merrill (Super Deluxe, Hemlock Pop) and Michael Kroll. All proceeds from the show go to MusiCares. The Recording Academy’s charity MusiCares provides a safety net of critical assistance for music people in times of need. MusiCares’ services and resources cover a wide range of financial, medical, and personal emergencies, and each case is treated with integrity and confidentiality. The Recording Academy also owns and operates the telecast of the GRAMMY’S music awards. Don’t miss this unique experience that will showcase all of the best that Seattle has to offer: Great music, great setting, great cause. All proceeds go to Grammys MusiCares.
